accompany [c'kVmpcni] (v)
1. to go with (someone or something):
  လိုက္ပါသည္။ လိုက္ပို႕သည္။
    He accompanied her to the door.
  တံခါးအထိ သူ႕ကိုလိုက္ပို႕သည္။
2. to play a musical instrument to go along
    with (a singer etc): သီဆိုသူ၊   တီးမႈတ္သူႏွင့္ တြဲဖက္၍   တီးမႈတ္သည္။
    He accompanied her on the piano.
  မိန္းကေလး၏အဆိုႏွင့္ တြဲဖက္၍   သူက စႏၵရားတီးသည္။      
    Note: follow cannot be used instead of
              accompany. to accompany
              means to go with: My mother
              accompanied (not followed)
              me to the clinic. to follow
              means to move in the same
              direction but keeping behind:
              I followed the robber to his
              hideout then telephoned the
              police. accompany အစား
              follow ကိုမသံုးရပါ။
              accompany: အတူလိုက္ပါသည္။
              follow: ေနာက္ကလိုက္သည္။  
    ac'companiment (n)
    something that accompanies:
  အတြဲအဖက္။ တြဲဖက္   တီးမႈတ္ေပးျခင္း။
    I'll play the piano accompaniment
    while you sing. မင္းအဆိုႏွင့္   တြဲဖက္ျပီး ငါစႏၵရားတီးေပးပါ့မယ္။
    accompanist  (n)
    a person who plays a musical
    accompaniment. တူရိယာ   တစ္ခုျဖင့္ တဲြဖက္တီးမႈတ္ေပးသူ။
